The “Blades” of each shard are in Alara Reborn. As you know, Alara Reborn took multicolor to Xtreme! levels. Here we have some of the hybrid plus regular mana cards. I doubt we will see this kind of cost any time soon, and I would guess never at common again.
The blades themselves are pretty cool, all 2/1 and get +1/+1 and an ability if you control another multicolored permanent.
The Shard Legends are pretty cool, any of them could make a great commander. I’ve seen people play Uril many times.
Once I saw a guy play this insane combo with Karrthus in a multiplayer game regular deck, it somehow worked around hivemind, plus mirror gallery, and a few more cards. I don’t remember exactly how he did it, but by the end he had something like 20 copies of Karrthus and it was just nuts.

I regret nothing.
I regret nothing at all.

This weekend
This weekend I attended a convention in a nearby city and When I arrived I felt an urge to play magic so I gathered up people and ran downtown to buy boosters,
later that day we were 8 people drafting, and I played a rakdos themed red and black deck, since I drew Exava and Breaking entering. I won my matches flawless enemy 0 me 20 until I met my match in the last match were the guy sitting next to hade gotten to pick up 6 vashino firstrikers wich he with selesnya backup pummeled me down. So I came second place in the draft I arranged. I can’t really complain and over all ahppy with the event.
My girlfriend won second at the cosplay contest so we were both happy with our second places. :)
PACK TO POWER
Goal: I am attempting to trade the contents of one pack of magic cards, Return to Ravnica, up to one of the most powerful magic cards in the history of the game, a piece of the power nine. Here’s how.
Rules
- Only One Pack– The seed pack will be from the new set, Return to Ravnica. It will be random and sealed. I will open only one pack, no cherry picking the best pack.
- Trading- I must trade only the contents of the pack which is opened, or cards acquired through trading the contents of the pack. This means that I cannot use any other cards from my collection to aid me in my quest.
- Documenting- I will record every trade and keep careful records of the entire journey.
- Spend No Money– The only money that I can spend is the money that I use to purchase the pack, or money that I obtained by selling cards that I have traded for in the process of Pack to Power.
- Free Cards– I cannot accept free cards. I must trade for the cards that I get.
- No Crushing Newbies - I am not allowed to make unfair trades with new players without making them aware.
Someone made this for an Avacyn cosplay, according to google this image comes from this link, but I couldn’t find the picture on it.
Going to make a green/white deck! I have a decently strong mono green deck, but it’s time to switch things up! I got two Wake the Reflections, so I’m going to pair them with a Trostani’s Summoner I was given yesterday. I still need to go through my cards and figure out what other white cards I’ve got that will strengthen the green cards I’m running.
New phone backgrounds. Also finally able to post multiple pictures from mobile
This MAY be too many cards for two people… NAAAAH.
